PALS

It’s your NHS

Patient Advice & Liaison Service - We're here to help!

The Patient Advice & Liaison Service, known as PALS, was introduced to ensure that the NHS listens to patients, their relatives, carers and friends, and answers their questions and resolves any concerns as quickly as possible.

PALS is a free, confidential service for patients, their relatives and carers, and members of the public.

PALS provides ‘on the spot’ help with the power to negotiate immediate solutions or speedy resolutions of problems.

PALS listen, and provide the relevant information and support, to help resolve service users’ concerns quickly and efficiently.

PALS liaise with staff and managers, and with other PALS services, health and related organisations, to solve problems.

If you have a suggestion to make about a service, please let us know. You don’t have to give us your name and we can pass the suggestions on to the relevant service managers.
